Flower Paintings

I love to create my floral paintings in bold colours, no matter if this is oil or watercolor. Nature is just amazing – it gives us so much. We don’t need to add any more to the flowers in nature, because they are just perfect.

Many of my flower paintings in watercolor are created on paper. I am using different paper, like hot pressed or cold pressed paper, but my style is always the same: romantic and realistic. I do not only create a Flower Painting, my goal is to paint a Portrait of the Flower.

Information about watercolor paper, Aquabord and Watercolor Canvas

Watercolor paper: The painting needs to be framed behind glass
Aquabord: Aquabord is a thin board which can hang in a frame without glass. It will be varnished.
Watercolor Canvas: 140 Lb watercolor paper is stretched over stretcher bars, the edges are painted, the painting will be varnished. No glass is needed, the painting can also hang without frame.
