I am sure I have created a wonderful big collection of painted roses in watercolor and oil. To paint a rose is like a date. To describe the petals with colours is simply a passion.

It is simply wonderful to see a rose developing on my white watercolor paper or on my canvas.

I especially love this part of a quote by Frederick Peterson:
“… For you it is a rose, for me it is my heart.”

Information about watercolor paper, Aquabord and Watercolor Canvas

Watercolor paper: The painting needs to be framed behind glass
Aquabord: Aquabord is a thin board which can hang in a frame without glass. It will be varnished.
Watercolor Canvas: 140 Lb watercolor paper is stretched over stretcher bars, the edges are painted, the painting will be varnished. No glass is needed, the painting can also hang without frame.
