Nothing is so beautiful like a Rose. My rose paintings are created in different sizes from 4"x4" up to large canvas paintings.

Many of the roses are growing in my own garden. I love to study them and observe them growing from the beginning of their life story: the tiny bud to the open rose and then at the end of blooming: the 'spent' flower - speaks of character and pride. There is beauty in all the stages of it's life - just as in all things. My style of painting is romantic realism and this allows me to capture these compelling images to be enjoyed for all four seasons of every year.

I use only the highest quality paints such as Schmincke, Winsor and Newton, Rembrandt, M. Graham, Daniel Smith to create archival artist quality paintings. My watercolor rose paintings are created on Hot Pressed or Cold Pressed artists quality watercolour paper, Textured Claybord (Aquabord), artists quality paper (cold and hotpressed) stretched over stretcher bars or Reeves Watercolor Board. My oil rose paintings are created on stretched canvas or canvas panel.
