Watercolor Paintings of Roses, Flowers, Figurative Paintings
For my watercolors I use 140 Lb hotpressed paper, 140 Lb coldpressed paper, 340 Lb coldpressed paper, Aquabord (Textured Claybord), Reeves Watercolor Board and Crescent Watercolor Board. Recently I started with stretching watercolor paper over stretcher bars, so it is like a watercolor canvas. These paintings will be varnished and then they don't need to be framed (of course you always can do this), but they also don't need to be framed behind glass.
I am using transparent and sometimes opaque watercolors from Schmincke and Winsor and Newton - for the professional artist.
