I simply love to create a cat painting in watercolor. To describe the soft fur is a real challenge with watercolor and I enjoy this painting process. The Cats eyes are also amazing, so many colours to see, if this is a green ocean or a field of bernstein. Cats are amazing pets.

My cat paintings are usually painted on watercolor paper. Many brushstrokes are needed to describe the fur in its best way.

Information about watercolor paper, Aquabord and Watercolor Canvas

Watercolor paper: The painting needs to be framed behind glass
Aquabord: Aquabord is a thin board which can hang in a frame without glass. It will be varnished.
Watercolor Canvas: 140 Lb watercolor paper is stretched over stretcher bars, the edges are painted, the painting will be varnished. No glass is needed, the painting can also hang without frame.
