Our home and almost all it containedincluding our family history, our furniture, our car and my years of artwork and materials – all taken in a matter of moments in the catastrophic floods in the Ahr Valley, Germany.
We are so grateful our family is safe.
But we have now just heard our insurance won’t payout for floods! We are devastated – again.
I have not posted for a long while here, so it is highest time to do this.
This is my newest watercolor painting. I will call it "The Secret Garden".
In fact it is a garden of an old castle here in the near, where I live, and it was not allowed…

Finally I have finished my newest figurative painting in watercolor.
The size is about 20"x28" (50x70 cm).
It is painted on 140 lb hotpressed paper. I have not think about a title yet, any suggestions are welcome.
