The Story Behind the Painting
Beauty in Every Detail is a large original watercolour painting of a white rose, seen close enough for its smallest details to become a world of their own. Broad, softly folded petals surround a centre of curling golden and rose-coloured filaments.
What drew me to this flower was the richness within its pale colours: warm cream and yellow, cool blue-grey shadows, soft green and small touches of pink. The rose does not need perfect, unmarked petals to be beautiful; its changing edges and delicate folds are part of its character.
Against a layered green and blue background, the luminous bloom opens out across the paper. Fine lines in the centre and softer, flowing washes around the petals invite you to look again and discover something new.

Colours & Atmosphere
Creamy whites, warm yellow and golden accents meet cool blue-grey shadows, soft greens and touches of pink. Deep green, teal and violet in the background give the pale petals depth and light. The finely painted centre contrasts with broad, translucent washes and softly changing edges.
Framing Recommendation
The painting is sold unframed, so you can choose a frame that suits your home. For lasting protection, I recommend professional conservation framing behind UV-filtering glass or acrylic, using an acid-free mat and reversible, archival mounting.
A custom frame is the best choice for this 76 × 56 cm artwork. As a starting point, a mat border of approximately 10 cm at the top and sides, with a slightly deeper lower border of about 12 cm, will create a beautifully balanced presentation. Your framer can adjust these proportions to suit the final frame and your interior.
