Purple Rose – New Painting Series of Rose Paintings in Watercolor

I started a new painting series of small rose paintings in watercolor. Each rose painting measures 10″x10″ (240 mm x 240 mm). For the paintings I used 300 Lb cold pressed watercolor paper from Arches.

The first rose painting I am showing here is a portrait of a purple rose. It is a fantastic colour and really catches your eyes.
