My first ACEO – Miniature painting of a horse

Today I have done my first ACEO.

ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. This is a miniature art piece done in the standard trading card size of 3.5 x 2.5 inches. These are small paintings that fit into readily available card sleeves and pages, they can be stored in an album, framed in a group, or given as a unique gift. ACEOs are affordable, diverse and highly collectable.

I have already painted a lot of small works in postcard size, but to work in such a small size was really new for me. And it made fun.

Now here is my first ACEO, a small horse painting.
